Raised in a middle class family, I truly was a stay at home person, until I moved my family from Missouri to the Northwestern part of the United States and the State of Washington. Moving to Washington provided me with the opportunity to expand my life horizons in business both national and international.
My passion for photography has been with me for over 40 years. Traveling throughout most of North America and this wonderful world on business and pleasure, I have had the extreme satisfaction of photographing parts of this world that I never thought I would travel.
My enthusiasm for photography includes Black and White images of landscape and people . People from all parts of life have become my art studio. I try to show the inner soul of their faces. My photograph, depicts their emotions wrapped in that moment in time .
Since retirement from an active telecommunication career, my love for photography has drove me toward a unique dog breed; the "Border collie". Border collies are considered by many to be one of the most intelligent and trainable dog breeds.
I'm very fortunate to own three Border collies, Rhett, Raygan and Beau a new addition to the family. As a participator in sheep dog trials, I have become acutely aware of the abilities of the handler and their Border collies.

Only One Road Photography brings creative black and white pictures of nature, people and we love animals - especially sheepdog trials and border collies.

Watching a good handler working with his Border collie is like poetry in action.
My photography of the handler and his Border collie has provided me with some of the most exciting action photography I could have shot. "Beauty in action"!
